Pascal Nemirovski is widely recognised as one of the most distinguished and sought-after piano pedagogues of his generation. Many of his students have won top prizes at major international competitions including the Tchaikovsky Competition (Moscow), Leeds, Busoni, Ettlingen, Dublin, Sydney, Hastings, Casagrande, Sendai International Music Competition, Piano Campus International Piano Competition, Young Concert Artists (New York), Young Classical Artists Trust (London), and BBC New Generation Artist. Several of them have gone on to successful international careers as recording artists represented by leading management agencies such as IMG Artists, HarrisonParrott, Askonas Holt and Intermusica. Among his former students are Lise de la Salle, Louis Schwizgebel, Emanuil Ivanov, George Harliono, Daniel Lebhardt, Roman Kosyakov, Edward Leung, Mario Mora, Yi Zhong and many others.

Nemirovski studied at the Juilliard School in New York from 1981 to 1984 with Nadia Reisenberg and Adele Marcus on a full scholarship from the Steinway & Freundlich Fund. He subsequently continued his studies in Paris with France Clidat and Alexis Weissenberg. Alongside his performing career, he has appeared widely as a recitalist and masterclass teacher across Europe, the United States and Asia. In 2004 he released his debut recording, Entre Ciel et Terre, devoted to works by Chopin, Prokofiev and Scriabin, which received unanimous critical acclaim.

His vocation for teaching was recognised at an early stage, and he has since been invited to give masterclasses, lectures and workshops at leading institutions around the world. These include the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing, the Shanghai Conservatory of Music, Shenzhen Arts School and Zhejiang Conservatory of Music in China; the Sibelius Academy in Finland; the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris; the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin; the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music and the Jerusalem Music Centre in Israel; the Moscow Conservatory and Central Music School in Russia; and in the United Kingdom the Royal Academy of Music, the Purcell School and the University of Oxford. He is also frequently invited to serve on the juries of major international piano competitions worldwide.

Nemirovski taught for ten years at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he was later awarded the distinction of Honorary Associate of the Royal Academy of Music (Hon ARAM). During his tenure he was responsible for the Piano Pedagogy specialism for the Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music (LRAM) and edited two pedagogical publications. He also taught at the Purcell School for Young Musicians during this period.

In 2016 he joined the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, where he holds the position of International Chair in Piano. He has also served as Artistic Director and Chairman of the Madrid International Piano Competition.

In 2023 he founded IPM – International Piano Masters combining masterclasses, competitions, Lectures, the initiative aims to create an inspiring and supportive environment for young musicians at the highest level.
